Awakening Faith-Reconnecting with your Catholic Faith Program
Draws Upon Conversation and Sharing Among Catholics
The Returning Catholic Ministry at Our Lady of the Lake Church invites inactive and semi-active Catholics to come together to discuss their faith.  The Awakening Faith program is structured to invite conversation and bonding between people. The resulting bonds help them see their connection to their Catholic faith and inspire them to learn and grow in their faith.  Dynamics of sharing and conversation in an open and confidential way, with strong welcome and hospitality, reinforce the sense of connection…and re-connection.
“Awakening Faith” sessions begin on Wednesday January 4, 2012 and run through Wednesday, February 8, 2012.  There are four additional weeks that may be added. They would run from February 15th to March 7th.

Mystagogia Music and KBVM-FM Present The Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Pray the Chaplet daily at 3 pm
88.3 FM or www.kbvm.fm

led by Catholic Recording artist: Kathleen Lundquist

In 1931 St. Faustina, a young Polish nun, began to receive visions and messages from Jesus Christ focusing on God's mercy for the whole world. One key vision was that of an image of Christ, approaching the viewer with His hand upraised in blessing and two rays (one pale, one red) emanating from His heart. She hired an artist to paint the image, which has become a beloved icon of Christ's love and mercy throughout Poland and across the world.
This version of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is heard on KBVM daily during the 7 pm Family Prayer hour following the Rosary.

Teach us the beauty of forgiveness so we may become more and more One in Heart, Mind and Body. Strengthen our dialogue and help us become living signs of your love. Make us grow more in love with the Church so we may renew the Body of Christ. Make us a sign of unity in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Brother. Amen" - Fr. Bill Dilgen, S.M.M.
